BiLLoW

I don’t want to see you go.
Memories swarm and swing around in my dreams.
Holding hands, we wake up cuddled and snuggly.
I miss you, though you were never really there.

I don’t want to see you go.
My sight is fuzzy.
My insight is muddy.
I mean so well.
I’m engulfed in a love so deep.

I don’t want to see you go.
This is the happiest I could ever feel.
I’m probably wrong but I don’t mind.
There’s no judgment with your soft long arms and your gentle smile.
Your wide eyes shine as I wake and look into them.
Your green visage, your glowing aura are all I need to succumb to waking.

I don’t want to see you go.
I created you from cloth and a pillow.
I named you Billow never expecting a friendship to begin.

I don’t want to see you go.
The people reading this most likely think you’re human.
I still find myself forgetting you’re not.

I don’t want to see you go.
